Emily Dix is a Toronto-based artist who works primarily as a producer, director and designer in theatre, film and television. She is the Artistic Executive Director of Bygone Theatre, a registered charity she has run since 2012, and frequently works as a freelance theatre artist, designing period productions, stage managing and producing indie theatre.
She has worked in television and film as a production coordinator and set dresser, and recently was a researcher for a Cineflix true crime documentary.
Emily is currently in pre-production for two new documentaries, one about Canadian comedy legends Wayne and Shuster, and one about the failures of Ontario's disability support programs.
